Central Otago, Wanaka, New Zealand. Flipping heck it’s beautiful down there! I met up with some close friends while spending some time down south earlier in the year and oh boy we explored! The Cardrona Valley, also known to locals as The Crown Range pass (treacherous road in winter), is an insanely beautiful tussock covered wonderland! We jumped out of the car, pretty close to the summit, and demolished a picnic of cheese, grapes and cider. What followed was extraordinary. We were treated with stunning late summer light and frolicked late into the evening.
It was such a pleasure to capture Kas and Matt and create something for them that encompassed who they are as a couple. We had an amazing time running away from sandflies and chasing the last of the gorgeous Central Otago summer light.
